What We Do
HEA – as a Not-For-Profit organization – is run by members for members, to exchange knowledge regarding the nature and ethical uses of hypnosis.
- All adults with a sincere interest in hypnosis are invited to join the association.
- Our membership includes both professional and non-professional members, including those who are retired, those with many years of experience, and those who are new to hypnosis.
- Most of us live all over the state of Florida, and we welcome members from other states and countries.
HEA holds conferences in Florida in the spring and fall. The conference programs include a variety of interesting presenters and provide the opportunity for professional hypnotists to complete continuing education units (C.E.U.s) required by certain certifying organizations. The HEA is a not-for-profit organization and depends on membership dues, meeting fees, and contributions to cover our expenses. All our board members volunteer their time and know-how. Your contributions help us to “keep the lights on” and are essential to secure our future. I really enjoyed the Spring Conference! The presenters were interesting and it was fun to see my friends and talk with them. There were some new students attending to get some insights into the profession and get some friendly advice from those with long experience.
